That was until it fell victim to Covid-19, but a year on, it has found its new home in Maroochydore, and the owners couldn’t be happier.
The family owned and run venue catered for lactose intolerance, gluten free, paleo, vegetarian and vegan options, with something for everyday eaters too, ensuring that every guest could enjoy locally sourced produce in a delicious way.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”2840″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”2839″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Martin and Petra Kralovic founded the café and wholefoods store to fill a niche and local tummies, and its many regular customers ensured healthy trade until Covid19 forced its closure just over a year ago.
Owner, Martin, said the impact of covid was significant, as he lost staff and suppliers and almost lost heart.
“Our aim has always been to offer people excellent, healthy alternatives and to remove the stigma around dietary challenges or choices; we simply believe that food that is good for you can taste good too and we keep proving that,” he said.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”2841″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]“For a brief time we reopened in another spot, but really wanted a central location with lots of people around us, easy and free parking, and visibility for passers-by to see us and give us a go.
“We found all this and more at the Maroochydore Homemaker Centre and from the day we opened we were run off our feet as local people came back out to support local, family businesses – it’s been exciting and overwhelming to really feel the love.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”2850″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The business is now up and running and is always on the lookout for new staff, for its 7 days a week operation, including their catering for businesses and events as well. Please see the catering tab above on the main menu for more details, how to book your next event and their different packages. The next step is to widen our reach by providing catering to the many businesses around us and to events as they return,” he said.
“We know it takes a village and we are very grateful for our returning and new customers.”
